Sun's out and the lighting was perfect. What more can I ask for? Finally, I was able to have a technique to get decent jewelry photos. As most jewelry artists (who take their own product photos) would say, the process of taking a nice photograph is not easy. So many factors are to be considered --- the item itself, background, camera and it's settings and most importantly the proper lighting. After experiementing for 3 years (yes 3 years!!!), I now know what time of the day, part of the house, and light intensity works best for my beloved jewelries. Today. even at 25F temperature outside, the mood is definitely perfect. My 45 minute photoshoot (the ideal time) went out pretty well. Check it out.
